The Wind in Texas

The FVRP came over this morning and we ran 6 miles in a blustery wind. It reminded us of the Big D Marathon several years ago when we endured similar temperatures (in the 40s) and high winds. That was not one of our favorites, btw. This time we took it quite slow, and especially for the FVRP since it was his first six-miler in quite awhile. Overall we felt good, and it was nice to have the wind at our backs up the big hill on Lake Forest. I need to keep up the running as holiday season approaches. And beyond.
