It was a beautiful day, almost Autumn-like. And since today is the first day of Autumn, I guess that holds true. When I started my run it was slow and I could still feel the effects of Saturday's 14 miles. I took it easy all the way through my 6 miles, trying to stretch where I could. This is part of lengthening my weekend outings in preparation for the November marathon, but I have to admit it doesn't always feel good. That's why I do runs like these, though. It's a good thing to get in the weekly mileage, and it's also good to have recovery runs like this.
