A Little Tired

Several nights of not sleeping well seemed to catch up to me today toward the end of my run. I ran 4 miles with four fartleks in miles 2 and 3, but by the time I reached the big hill heading up to the neighborhood I ran out of gas. I've always considered sleep an important piece of the overall training picture. This week (post-Thanksgiving) I'm trying to get back into my exercise routine. No travel upcoming for several weeks, and normal days and weekends at home. Hopefully I can also get some good sleep and shed some of the extra poundage picked up over the last several months.
