Skipping Spring

On today's run I thought several times that we had skipped Spring and gone straight to Summer. That's not unheard of in these parts. The main reasons were a temperature in the 80s, full-on sunshine, and plenty of humidity. I planned to go 8 miles, and that's exactly what I did, albeit with a few periods of walking, including one extended time on the way back east on 96th Street. The run pretty much wore me out, which is fine, and I definitely look like I got a lot of sun today, especially combined with the weekend outing for lawncare. Today's run means I got in a full 20 miles for the week. My goal is to keep that going and maybe increase a little over the next month or so.
